STRAWBERRY CREAM PIE
1 1.4 cups plus 2 tablespoons sugar
1 pkg (less 1 tablespoon) strawberry jello
1 box fresh strawberries,cleaned and drained
Mix 1 cup sugar, water, cornstarch and salt in saucepan; cook until thick. Remove from heat and add jello until dissolved; cool. Mix 1/4 cup sugar with strawberries. Poor half the filling in pie crust. Add berries, cover with remaining filling. Whip cream with reamaing sugar; spread over pie Chill.
